Cannon Technologies, the global leader in data centre solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Glenn Conlon to the position of Technical Sales Director. Having joined Cannon in September 2013, Glenn has been at the forefront of our growth into the Rail, Utility, and Broadcast sectors. Based out of the UK, Glenn will be responsible for moving the business forward across Cannon’s growing National operation – as well as working with colleagues on global projects.
With an in-depth knowledge of engineering, as well as successfully studying for a BEng (Hons) qualification in the 1990s and just recently, a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, Glenn’s initial focus will be working with channel partner companies to push their – and Cannon’s – business forward, as well as ensuring that clients receive the best possible pre- and post-sales support.

I hope that, I can help contribute to the company’s continued success and focus on IoT & Edge solutions through our Modular DC products along with indoor & outdoor environments and leadership in changing the world.” During his time with Cannon, he has been impressed with the company’s long-term vision for growth within the Data Centre Market – as well as the incredible wealth of talent, technology and resources the company has available to ensure its success.
Along with Glenn’s promotion Cannon are delighted to welcome to the Business Development Team – Gary Gethin. Gary joins the team as Business Development Manager Gary’s role is to support our growth in the DC & Transportation markets, his focus is towards Key Account, New Business and Channel Partners Development. Gary has a technical engineering background which helps him to quickly understand the customer pains and then find a solution using Cannon’s engineering experience, breadth of product and market knowledge.
