Cannon’s patented Quick-Change fan unit allows removal in seconds without the need to remove active equipment in the top positions within the cabinet and without the need to remove the cabinet roof or overhead cable trays.

The Quick-Change fan tray allows the fan unit to be omitted during initial installation for fitting at a later time, and if heat loads warrant; this also simplifies project planning.

The 3 pin IEC connection to the rear of the fan unit ensures an instant electrical break when fan is removed providing immediate safety.

No flying leads exist, avoiding danger of entanglement or shorting out.

Deep server cabs need roof cooling fans to be positioned further towards the rear of the cabinet for maximum efficiency, as fans too near the front of cabinet will starve cooling air flow to the front of servers ; Cannon Quick-Change fan unit can instantly be fitted to rear of the roof achieving this critical benefit.

Front face of fan unit is set back (recessed) from roof edge as this provides protection for LED indicators and alarms when fitted.
