Cannon Technologies specialises in the design; procurement and manufacture of Data Management Systems; enclosures and associated equipment. Supplying mainly to technology markets.
The nature of the company’s activities places particular emphasis on experience; expertise, capability, performance, safety and reliability.
A key way to achieve this is by operating a environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of the BS EN ISO 14001: 2015 Standard
Top management is committed to:-
a) Satisfying the requirements of the management system by ensuring that applicable statutory regulations are determined; understood and met.
b) The continual improvement of the EMS by ensuring that potential risks are identified that may impact the environment as a result of Company activities.
Top management shall:-
a) Assess and regularly re-assess the environmental effects of the Organisation’s activities on the local and general environment.
b) Ensure that training of employees in environmental issues is carried out.
c) Reduce to a minimum material wastage.
d) Minimise energy wastage.
e) Promote the use of recyclable and renewable materials.
f) Prevent possible pollution to controlled waters and of contamination of land and also releasing particulate matter to air as a result of company activities.
g) Control noise emissions from company operations.
h) Minimise the risk to the general public and employees from operations and activities undertaken by the Organisation.
i) Take into consideration the needs and expectations of interested parties.
This policy will be communicated to employees and organizations working for or on behalf of the Company. Employees and other organizations are expected to co-operate in the implementation of this policy.
This policy will be reviewed annually by top management; when deemed necessary it will be amended and reissued.
